A drama teacher at Old Bridge High School in New Brunswick, New Jersey pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of having a sexual relationship with one of her 17-year-old students.

Lisa Glide, 35, admitted to a Superior Court Judge that she has sex with one of her male students twice between February and May of last year. She said neither time was on school property.

In a plea agreement, the state dropped a second-degree sexual assault charge and reduced the degree of child endangerment from third to fourth in exchange for Glide’s guilty plea. She also agreed to give up her teaching certificate and not reapply for one in any New Jersey public school.

Also a part of the deal is Glide’s five year probation sentence, in which she will also receive mental health counseling. During her probation, she can have only supervised contact with males under 18.

Glide organized plays and taught drama at the high school. She was arrested in December.

Glide attended Montclair State University and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. She claims to have appeared in episodes of One Life to Live, All My Children and Dawson’s Creek.
