WICHITA - A 1-year-old girl suffered burns over her chest and abdomen after she pulled a coffee pot onto herself in the IHOP at 515 S. Ridge Road this morning.
The accident occurred at about 9:11 a.m., a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. The child was taken to Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus burn unit, treated and released.
She suffered second-degree burns to about 10 percent of her chest and abdomen, the supervisor reported.
